PRIVACY NOTICE

How we use your information

Ellis And Murray Developments Ltd is responsible for the personal information submitted through this website. Contact us at enquiries@ellisandmurray.co.uk or at our registered office if you have a privacy question.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, company, email address, telephone number, project address, planning reference, project requirements, preferred dates and any drawings or documents you upload.

Why we use it

We use the information to respond to enquiries, assess projects, prepare quotations or tender submissions, communicate with you and, if appointed, administer the resulting building project. Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal obligations and our legitimate interests in operating and protecting our business.

Who receives it

Information is shared only where necessary with our authorised team and service providers that host the website or deliver enquiry emails. It may also be shared with professional advisers, insurers or authorities where required by law. We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list or sell personal information.

How long we keep it

General enquiries and unsuccessful quotations are normally kept for up to 24 months. Where work proceeds, relevant project, contractual and financial records may be retained for up to six years after completion, or longer where the law or an active claim requires it. Information that is no longer needed is securely deleted.

Your rights

You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, or object to certain uses. These rights depend on the circumstances and legal basis. Contact us first so we can help. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
